Let's begin with a quick trip down memory lane. I was visiting Nigeria in 2022, and reuniting with family for the first time in ten years. Picture me nearly choking from the unbearable amount of pepper - really hot chilli - in one of the dishes, and scrambling over for a bottle of cold water which should have been delivered half an hour ago. I ended up making multiple trips to the bartender and manager, - not to complain, as we were still having a good time amongst ourselves - but to constantly remind them about our orders. It was utterly ridiculous, considering their charges and the eventual bill.
